漆器艺术是江苏最重要地传统工艺之一，漆器以其历史悠久、制作精良、形式优美、风格独特而名闻中外，在汉代已具有较高水平。漆器在唐代主要为剔红雕漆，在明代与多宝嵌法，至清代首创漆砂砚。漆器髹漆方法繁多，装饰技艺丰富。技法有玉石镶嵌、骨石镶嵌、平磨螺钿、点螺雕漆、磨漆画、木雕镶嵌、刻漆、雕填、彩绘等十大类。

The workmanship of lackquer ware has been reached a high level since the the Hang Dynasty. Red lacquer ware was originated in the Tang. In the Ming Dynasties, the skill of embedding treasures became popular. In the Qing Dyansty, there were numerous skill to make lacquer ware such as embedding with jade, bones wood carvings, colored patterns and so on. |
